Wiribed: 1,000+ origami hospital beds, delivered where they were needed most

When Thailand's field hospitals and community isolation centres ran short of beds, our factory answered with Wiribed — a low-cost hospital bed anyone can assemble without tools. The design borrows from Japanese origami: the top is a single bendable wood sheet, pressed and scored on the same CNC lines that cut our luxury casework.
“More than 1,000 beds reached field hospitals, isolation centres and patients' homes.”

Wiribed was engineered for mass production from day one, and delivered together with partners Alliance, Modernform, Torheng and DesignTwo — proof that the discipline we learned from luxury retail can serve everyone. Read more at wiribed.org.
